After moving to the Comox Valley in 2021, a lifelong dream came to fruition with the creation of Parkside Wood Studio. A passion for quality and creativity drives what we do. Parkside Wood Studio is a boutique woodshop, specializing in slab processing, and custom slab work creating handcrafted furniture for both residential and commercial clients. Our clients range from home, and business owners, to designers and other woodworkers, be it hobbyists or professionals.

We provide ethically sourced wood through our dedicated supply partners on Vancouver Island, and the mainland.
Stocked wood slabs
We carry a limited supply of unique character slabs, rounds, and partially processed slabs. Feel free to contact us regarding what we have in stock. We are more than happy to collaborate with our clients to source and procure the species and size of slab they are looking for if it’s not something we currently have in the studio.

Equipment
We believe the quality of work is reflected in the tools you use. Would you want your surgeon using a rusty scalpel? Of course not, and for that reason we don’t build furniture with construction tools. We are particular about our machines and tools, they help us create and fulfil our vision. With brands like Festool, General, Woodmaster, Narex, HOVR Solutions, Rampa, 3M , Amana, and Woodpeckers, we cut straight, level flat and sand smooth.
