After moving to the Comox Valley in 2021, a lifelong dream came to fruition with the creation of Parkside Wood Studio. A passion for quality and creativity drives what we do. Parkside Wood Studio is a boutique woodshop, specializing in Custom-Handcrafted Furniture, Slab Processing and Commercial Tabletop Refinishing for both residential and commercial clients. Our clients range from home, and business owners, to designers and other woodworkers, be it hobbyists or professionals.

We are passionate about wood, every piece is one of a kind and we have a responsibility to respect this generous, organic material.
Sources
We are more than happy to collaborate with our clients to source and procure the species and size of slab they are looking for. Between our stocked wood slabs and our dedicated supply partners, we will find the perfect piece of ethically sourced wood.

Equipment
We believe the quality of work is reflected in the tools you use. Would you want your surgeon using a rusty scalpel? Of course not, and for that reason we don’t build furniture with construction tools. We are particular about our machines and tools, they help us create and fulfil our vision. With brands like Festool, General, Woodmaster, Narex, HOVR Solutions, Rampa, 3M , Amana, and Woodpeckers, we cut straight, level flat and sand smooth.
